"Farmrude. Great Food, Appalling Manners!"
After a recent NEGATIVE EXPERIENCE in their Lancaster Store, I have decided to PERMANENTLY BOYCOTT FARMFOODS! ... (I have also boycotted LIDL, after being thrown out of their store by the Manager, over a joke about "Expensive Lurpak!" See my review).
I'm a disabled Gay man with a "unique" and overtly Gay dress sense! I'm often verbally abused in the street, and have been for years! ... Some people might say I deserve to be abused?
On 10 June 2022, upon walking into the Lancaster store, a male checkout operator excitedly shouted across the store to the Manager, describing my appearance, and everything I was wearing!
This is NOT the first time that staff have been rude! (See my other review). I made a complaint (via "Resolver"), and Farmfoods offered me a £10 voucher.
The Manager was apologetic, but he did NOTHING to stop the staff member involved from "mocking" me as soon as I walked into the store! Although the Manager understood how upset I was, he later made "excuses" for the staff member involved.
There is NO EXCUSE for "disrespecting" the people who essentially help pay your wages! ... I will NOT tolerate such behaviour!
Farmfoods "investigation" is a sham, and they will ALWAYS support their staff! ... If this person has treated me this way, you can bet he's done it before? ... It should be a SACKABLE OFFENCE!
If you're disabled, Gay, or "different" in some way, based on my own experience, I advise CAUTION when visiting "Farmrude" Lancaster!
I certainly won't be visiting again! ... EVER!

Great Service
Went into the Dewsbury store last week to buy lots of cases of drinks for a fundraiser. Mark, who served me at the tills saw me struggle with my trolley and cane out to help me, not only moved my trolley to the car but also load my car. Really good service and a very friendly member of staff.

I bought four items but was charged for five
I visited the new Boston Farmfoods last week. It was my first time shopping at Farmfoods. I bought 4 items. In the car park I checked the receipt and it showed a 2 litre bottle of milk that I had not purchased. As it was early in the day and there were few customers in the store, the till assistant remembered that she had not rung up any milk. The manager sorted out an immediate refund but I had the hassle of filling out a refund slip with my name and postcode. So after my very first experience of Farmfoods I am wary of going there again.

I wasnt happy when I visited the Tong Street store on 29th May as the staff were very unhelpful until a young man called Umair (not a regular staff member at that store) came to help and was absolutely great. He was polite and courteous and a credit to Farmfoods. He should be rewarded for being the total opposite of the unhelpful staff that were there that day

At Bristol rdc
At Bristol rdc , its an absolute disgrace keep you here for ages and ages treat you and speak to you like crap, sit on crappie seats in canteen so not the comfort of your truck. If you treat your customers like this you'd be finished and maybe drivers should boycott you. You'll soon learn we are humans too.
New store in Basingstoke - why is food left outside?
A new store in Basingstoke opened 13th May. I drive past it every day on my way to and from work. So far I have seen crates of food (I am not sure what is in the crates) stacked up outside the warehouse every day.
Having seen this I certainly will not be shopping there!

I am sick to the back teeth of your unsolicited junk mail at MY HOME. Stop harassing me I've asked you to stop. You have lost a customer and I have never stepped foot in one of your shops!!!

I never shopped there and I will never do. I am bombarded with at least 10 leaflets in the post each day(yes daily) for this store. Its spam and bad for the environment.

Appreciate Farmfoods Stores.
It pains me read poor reviews & yep they are justified. I'm lucky to have stores with genuinely good pleasant staff. I shop both in Bury Lancashire and Lancaster Lancashire. Staff at both stores are under tremendous pressure but stay polite to customers. We all have bad days & customers with rude attitudes don't help.
We are all aware prices are rising faster than we'd like and as a aged person on a pension I know exactly what hard times are really like.
So, I look very carefully down all isles & comparison websites are a handy tool. At Farmfoods I found.... 500g Punnet French Suncrop vine tomatoes 99pence. Others: you'd be lucky to get a small 250g/300g pack for £1.25
200g Nescafe Black Roast £3.99 Others £4.50.
Pilgrims choice mature cheddar £1.99 Others £2.35/50
24pk Mokate 3 in 1 coffee £1.89 Others £2.79 +
Richmond 8pk skinless sausages £1.29 Others £1.25 - £2.00
4.50G Yeo valley raspberry yogurt £1.00 Others £1.50 - £1.85
Fyffes 5pk Bananas 69 pence Others up to £1.00. That's just a sample of my small shopping.
I have found my stores to be clean and tidy, well stocked when there is availability.
Will continue to support Farmfoods.
